Dan Crossen

Associate

LL.B (Hons) (University of Canterbury, 2005)

What I do

I provide advice on all areas of property law and have considerable experience with residential, rural and commercial conveyancing; commercial leases; and the sale and purchase of businesses.

I also have experience advising on local government property issues and a variety of commercial contracts.

I have a particular interest in trust law and advise on all aspects of estate and asset planning as well as estate administration.

How I like to work with clients.

I work with a wide range of clients all who have different needs and expectations.  I enjoy the personal contact and expect clients to contact me at any time if they need explanation or guidance.

My approach to client service.

I believe the key to excellent client service is communicating clearly and comprehensively throughout the transaction or legal process.  Face to face contact with the client  is important, and spending the time in the early stages understanding client concerns then helps make the overall process run more smoothly.

What I like doing after hours

I’m active in the Christchurch theatre community and have been involved in numerous productions including Arthur Miller's 'The Crucible'  and also Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' and  'Twelfth Night', as part of summer time theatre at Mona Vale in Christchurch. I enjoy music and travel and just commenced with an involvement in community radio over the weekends.
