Vaughan is a Partner in our corporate and commercial team. Previously, Vaughan worked in large firms in London and Wellington.
Vaughan advises clients on a range of corporate and commercial work from business acquisitions and dispositions through to finance, employment, and general commercial issues. Vaughan’s expertise also includes guiding his clients through all aspects of their private and personal affairs, including trust and asset planning (with a strong focus on long term planning and care), relationship property, elder care & managing estates.
He has a background in litigation, regulatory and advocacy. Vaughan manages the firm’s provision of these services, including in close liaison with senior Counsel.
Vaughan is very client and service focused.
He likes to get alongside his clients and work with them to achieve the outcomes they want. Vaughan looks to provide commercially realistic and practical advice, especially in litigious and dispute related circumstances. He enjoys collaborating closely with clients, to proactively identify and focus on pragmatic solutions for their benefit.

Vaughan relocated to Christchurch for the amazing lifestyle it and the South Island offer. He loves the outdoors and getting into the wilderness with his family. Favourite pass times are active – paddling, biking, tramping and the like. For Vaughan, a good beer at the end of a day of adventure with family and friends is hard to beat.
