What I do

I have recently joined MDS Law. I have 3½ years’ experience in a general practice law firm, having previously worked in the public sector.

I primarily assist Mark Tutty and Dan Crossen with commercial, property and private client work.
I enjoy the variety of work and the many different clients that MDS assists.

How I like to work with clients

I enjoy helping clients resolve their legal issues promptly and efficiently.

I understand that each individual and business is different. I take the time to understand each client’s situation, circumstances and ways of working at the start of the project. It is also important that I fully understand the outcome the client is wanting to achieve.

My primary focus is to ensure that each client’s interests are best protected, and the client fully understands their options, rights and obligations and the process they are working through.

I strive to provide clear and considered legal and practical advice, that is in accordance with what the client is wanting to achieve.

My approach to client service

The key to the success of each project is clear communication.

I aim to set realistic timeframes and expectations with clients, and to keep clients regularly updated throughout the project. I also ensure that I respond to all client enquiries and questions promptly.

I understand that legal issues can be stressful and complicated. I endeavour to minimise stress for clients, and I will always attempt to shuffle my workload to ensure I can pick up any urgent work
when required.

Outside of work

Outside of work, I keep active by running and practising yoga. I enjoy the outdoors and try to get out as much as possible. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, and I am especially fond of my nieces and nephews.
