Senior Solicitor

Robbie Hill

Robbie is a Senior Solicitor in our Private Client and Estates team.

Robbie advises on a number of areas including wills and succession planning, enduring powers of attorney, trust administration, occupation right agreements and residential care subsidy applications.

Having relocated to Christchurch from South Canterbury in late 2024, Robbie brings a unique skill set to the MDS Law team. To Robbie, building relationships with his clients is the most important and the most enjoyable part of his job. He prides himself on going the extra mile, whether that be by visiting clients at their homes or rest homes to provide advice or visiting the family farm to get a clearer understanding of specific legal problems.

If you are someone who is currently in need of legal services and are hesitant to engage either your first lawyer or a new lawyer, we recommend getting in touch with Robbie.

Outside of work, you might find Robbie out braving the cold during the rugby season. Having acted as a Judicial Officer for the South Canterbury Rugby Union for three seasons and as a manager of his local boyhood senior team in 2024, Robbie is a big supporter of grassroots rugby.
