Wayne Christie

Wayne has been the Business Manager at MDS Law since 2016, responsible for ensuring the smooth and successful day-to-day operation of the firm.

With more than 16 years’ experience in the management of law firms, and a banking career before that, Wayne is well-versed in the requirements of managing areas such as finance, property, technology, human resources and performance of the business.  He also provides recommendations to the partnership for the firm’s strategic growth and ongoing improvement of processes and systems to assist the team in providing the best possible level of service and advice to clients.

Outside work Wayne enjoys BBQing, camping and socialising with family and friends.  Wayne has also had a long involvement with motorsport, recently retiring as President of MotorSport New Zealand and is an active steward for local and international events.
